帝國理工學院是一所公立大學，成立于1907年。該大學以前是倫敦大學的學院，并于2007年成為獨立大學。該大學以理科為發(fā)展重點，在倫敦及周邊地區(qū)有多個校區(qū)，主校區(qū)位于倫敦市中心南部肯辛頓，這里是眾多文化和教育機構的所在地，例如自然歷史博物館。
Imperial College London is a public institution that was founded in 1907. The university was previously a college of the University of London and became an independent institution in 2007.
The science-focused university is made up of multiple campuses located in and around London. The main campus is situated in South Kensington, an area in Central London that is home to other cultural and educational institutions, such as the Natural History Museum.
該大學由四個學術分支組成，分別致力于工程、醫(yī)學、自然科學和商業(yè)。該大學的研究中心和研究小組包括數(shù)據(jù)科學研究所，全球衛(wèi)生創(chuàng)新研究所和對沖基金研究中心。該大學的本科生研究計劃每年為大約400名學生提供實操研究機會。
The university comprises four academic divisions focused on engineering, medicine, natural sciences and business. Among the university’s research centers and groups are the Data Science Institute, the Institute of Global Health Innovation and the Centre for Hedge Fund Research. The university’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program each year provides around 400 students with hands-on research opportunities.
