Dear Families and Employees,

親愛的各位家長、教職工們，

RDFIS is a joyful school! Joyful teaching is just the way we do things here. Joy is an essential part of our culture.

As students finish breakfast and leave the canteen, they pass the B-Building while strolling to morning classes. They are greeted by administrators and teachers. Today, they were greeted by Mr. Robinson, one of our school counselors, who was smiling, strumming his well-known guitar, and singing, “It’s a Brand New Day!” A sign read, “Will sing for smiles!” and smile they did! Each smile invited joy!

The end of Quarter 1 is quickly approaching. Please check your child’s grades on PowerSchool and encourage your student to communicate with teachers regarding questions.

* THREE-WAY CONFERENCES 家長會

Thres-way conferences between students, teachers, and parents will be held October 24th and 25th. At least one parent is encouraged to attend. This is an opportunity to meet with the teacher and discuss your child’s performance at school and how to achieve better academic performance. Please pay attention to the above date. Registration instructions are below.

* COLLEGE APPLICATION TRAINING 大學申請培訓

The college application counselors from the Futian Wonderful Company office provided college preparation training to students in grades 7–11 this week, and our college counselors, Mr. Brian Robinson and Miss Peggy Gong, are meeting one-on-one with each G12 student. We are committed to helping your student in their university research and application process. Thank you, Counselors!
