這一周是讓我們記憶深刻的一周!SIPC的全?;顒?dòng)進(jìn)行了首屆“中華文化月讀書(shū)報(bào)告會(huì)”。拒絕書(shū)荒,與經(jīng)典不期而遇。讀千古美文,同經(jīng)典相伴;頌中華經(jīng)典,與圣賢同行。小學(xué)生們的詩(shī)詞表演,為活動(dòng)拉開(kāi)了序幕。讀書(shū)報(bào)告會(huì)上,愛(ài)讀書(shū)的同學(xué)們?yōu)槲覀儙?lái)他們的推薦書(shū)目。讓我們借此機(jī)會(huì),培養(yǎng)起讀書(shū)的習(xí)慣,走進(jìn)書(shū)的海洋,浸潤(rùn)書(shū)香,暢享書(shū)韻吧!今年,SIPC受到了越來(lái)越多家庭的關(guān)注,本周五我們進(jìn)行了本學(xué)期的第一次開(kāi)放日,歡迎更多可愛(ài)的小朋友加入SIPC噢!

SIPC Weekly Highlights
KG-G1
完成我們的周末新聞時(shí),一些學(xué)生開(kāi)始使用他們的語(yǔ)音知識(shí)來(lái)寫(xiě)單詞。每個(gè)人都非常努力地練習(xí)自己的書(shū)法,養(yǎng)成了坐在書(shū)桌前的好習(xí)慣。
在數(shù)學(xué)課上,用熊和圓圈來(lái)幫助我們減法! 一年級(jí)的孩子們以10的倍數(shù)進(jìn)行計(jì)算,K班的孩子們則使用加法求減法。
藝術(shù)課上,為了配合IPC課程和地圖的學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生們正在制作自己的島嶼!他們想到地圖上他們想去的地方(商店、冰淇淋店、游樂(lè)園等等)。同學(xué)們學(xué)習(xí)到地圖上需要有標(biāo)題、指南針和圖例。來(lái)看看他們開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)的一些鉛筆素描吧。學(xué)生們喜歡講他們創(chuàng)作的故事。我們的島嶼什么都有,公主、恐龍、怪獸還有獨(dú)角獸!
When writing our weekend news, some students started to use their phonics to write words on their own. Everyone was working very hard on their handwriting and getting into the routine of sitting at a desk. In Maths, we used bears and circles to help us subtract! We counted in multiples of 10 for G1, using addition to solve subtractions for KG.
In Art, to go along with IPC and the study of maps, students were making their own islands in art class! They thought about places on a map that they would like to go (stores, ice cream shops, amusement parks...). They learned that maps have a title, a compass, and a key. Here's some beginning photos of their planning and pencil sketches. The students loved telling the stories about their creations. We have islands for everything from princesses and dinosaurs, to monsters and unicorns!
G2-G3
在英語(yǔ)課中,我們開(kāi)始學(xué)習(xí)“專(zhuān)橫”的祈使語(yǔ)氣動(dòng)詞。這些動(dòng)詞經(jīng)常用于指示。所以,為了得到一些實(shí)踐,孩子們必須遵循一套指導(dǎo)(找到所有專(zhuān)橫的動(dòng)詞)來(lái)制作他們自己的魚(yú)!同時(shí),我們一直在了解說(shuō)明書(shū)。我們利用所學(xué)的知識(shí)做了一個(gè)秘密的指令集,告訴我們?nèi)绾巫鲆粋€(gè)水果串。在閱讀了自己制作的指導(dǎo)之后,我們找到了所有祈使語(yǔ)氣動(dòng)詞,并按照簡(jiǎn)單的指導(dǎo)做了一些自己的水果串。終于,我們可以享受屬于自己的美食了!
音樂(lè)課上,我們給聽(tīng)到的音樂(lè)根據(jù)大聲和輕聲創(chuàng)建了心電圖。音樂(lè)是貝多芬的“命運(yùn)”交響曲和“月光”奏鳴曲。孩子們都很喜歡這音樂(lè)。
In English, we started learning all about our bossy (imperative) verbs. These are often used in instructions so, to get some hands on practice, children had to follow a set of instructions (finding all the bossy verbs) to make their own fish! We have also been looking at instructions. Today, we used our knowledge to make a secret set of instructions which told us how to make a fruit kebab. After reading our instructions, and finding all our bossy verbs, we made some fruit kebabs of our own following our simple instructions. Finally, we got to enjoy!
In our music class, we created the electrocardiograph for the music we heard according to loud and soft. The music were Beethoven’s “Destiny” Symphony and “Moonlight” Sonata. They all enjoyed the music and make a good sense of loud and soft.
G4-G5
IPC極端幸存者 ~ 本周的IPC課程中,我們討論動(dòng)物分類(lèi)和生命周期。孩子們觀看了《自然》和《科學(xué)》的電影片段,然后各自選擇了一個(gè)動(dòng)物小組進(jìn)行研究。為了加深他們的知識(shí)和學(xué)習(xí),學(xué)生們使用信息事實(shí)文件和圖表來(lái)展示生命周期。
在數(shù)學(xué)課上,我們玩“乘法表國(guó)王或王后”的游戲。這是一個(gè)有趣的速度游戲,學(xué)習(xí)和練習(xí)基本的乘法。數(shù)學(xué)課上孩子們還做了減法題,我們集中在“Bar Models”中解決問(wèn)題。孩子們用條形模型來(lái)形象化他們要減去的山。同學(xué)們的學(xué)習(xí)表現(xiàn)不斷進(jìn)步!再接再厲!
在藝術(shù)課上,我們跟隨IPC學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)物的適應(yīng)性。我們聽(tīng)了一個(gè)故事“你用這樣的尾巴做什么?”我們談到了真正的動(dòng)物超能力……甚至一些幻想中的生物,比如龍和獨(dú)角獸!然后學(xué)生練習(xí)“看到”藝術(shù)家畫(huà)植物和動(dòng)物的書(shū)。這是我們計(jì)劃創(chuàng)造夢(mèng)幻生物和棲息地的開(kāi)始。同學(xué)們是如此有才華!
IPC ~ Extreme Survivors. This week in IPC we are looking at Animal Classifications and Life Cycles. The children watched Nature and Science movie clips and then selected an Animal Group to research. To further their knowledge and learning, the students represented the Life Cycle using information fact files and diagrams.
In our Maths Lesson we played the 'Times Tables King or Queen' Game. This is a fun speed game to continue practicing our Multiplication Facts! The children also working on Subtraction Tasks. We focused on 'Bar Models' in our problem solving. The children used bar models to visualize the mount they would subtract. The students' work presentation and care continues to improve! Keep up the great work! In Art class we are following along with IPC and studying animal adaptations. We listened to the story "What Do You Do With a Tail Like This?" We talked about real animal superpowers...and even some fantasy creatures like dragons and unicorns! The students then practiced "seeing" like artists by drawing plants and animals from books. This is the start of our planning for creating fantasy creatures and habitats. They are so talented and hard working!
G6-G7
我們的社團(tuán)活動(dòng)總是非常精彩!在籃球社團(tuán)中同學(xué)們學(xué)習(xí)了上籃,上籃一般稱(chēng)三步上籃或三步跨籃,是一項(xiàng)基本的投籃技術(shù)。對(duì)于三步上籃,基本動(dòng)作就是調(diào)整好步伐,在決定上籃的第一步抱住球,并保護(hù)住自己手中的籃球,然后邁出第二只腳,邁出最后一步的同時(shí)跳起來(lái)投籃。大部分同學(xué)籃球基礎(chǔ)較差,但是在社團(tuán)中都能夠積極練習(xí)。籃球運(yùn)動(dòng)鍛煉了同學(xué)們的協(xié)調(diào)性、靈敏性、柔韌性和。判斷能力。
編程興趣班的學(xué)生們迎來(lái)了課程第一個(gè)單元的小任務(wù),學(xué)生兩人一組互相采訪,收集和整理各自最完美寵物的特點(diǎn),接著動(dòng)手協(xié)作建造模型??粗@些與眾不同的可愛(ài)“寵物”,老師都不禁贊賞學(xué)生們的心靈手巧!下一步,就要輪到我們的主角micro:bit上場(chǎng),學(xué)生們會(huì)怎么編程,將其融入其中呢?
In the basketball club, the students learned to make a layup. The layup is usually called a three-step layup, which is a basic shooting technique. To make a three-step layup, one needs to adjust his pace, and hold the ball with both hands and protect it in the first step, then take the second step. At last, take the final step, jump up and shoot at the same time. Most of the students have a poor basketball skill foundation, but they practice actively in the club. Students practiced their senses of coordination, sensitivity, flexibility and judging ability by playing basketball.
Students in the programming club ushered in their task of the first unit of this course. Students interviewed each other in a two-person group, collected and organized the characteristics of their perfect pets, and then worked together to build the model. The teacher couldn't help but appreciated the students' ingenuity while looking at these cute and unique "pets"! Next, it's our main character micro:bit’s turn to play. How will students program and incorporate it in their program?
