為弘揚(yáng)中華文化，增進(jìn)師生家長(zhǎng)對(duì)中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化和節(jié)日習(xí)俗的認(rèn)識(shí)和理解，9月12日SWIS校園舉辦了盛大的迎中秋活動(dòng)。今年有1200多人報(bào)名參加SWIS中秋歡慶夜，活動(dòng)包括表演、詩(shī)朗誦、趣味傳統(tǒng)游戲，品中秋美食、賞月等。

SWIS Mid-Autumn Festival

On September 12th, The SWIS community gathered together to celebrate one of the most important holidays in the Chinese Culture -- The Mid-Autumn festival. With participation well over 1200, the community enjoyed an engaging evening filled with performances and traditional activities.

Let us review some of the moments from last week:

The evening began with students and staff members decorating the campus with lanterns. Lantern hanging has always been a ritual of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Hanging up lanterns symbolizes joy, harmony, and family reunion.

Grade 4 students showcased their talents with a beautiful performance of The Tale of Mid-Autumn, a story that captions the love story of Hou Yi & Chang-E and the origin of the Mid-Autumn festival.

Grade 8 Student Vivian recited a poem of her writing, The Rabbit Kite in the Sky.

This year, SWIS invited 3 renowned artists to join us in celebrating this wonderful holiday. Ms. Li Shaoqin, a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association, recited the elegant lyric poetry called Prelude to Water Melody. Mr. Wu Qingjie, the Chief Anchor in Shenzhen Media Group and Ms. Zhao Hui, a top-level Nationally Certified Anchor, recited the famous literature Nostalgia, a modern poem that expresses the longing for family and the affection for the past.

In addition to the performances, SWIS also held a garden party on its grounds. Community members participated in a variety of events: Mooncake tasting; lantern riddles; lucky hoops; calligraphy; creative clay and many more activities.

SWIS is a community of lifelong learners from around the world. We promote and celebrate different cultures in our efforts to educate future global citizens. The Mid-Autumn Festival allows our students and community members to understand the significance and meaning behind this important Chinese holiday.

中秋夜溫馨時(shí)刻回顧：

掛燈籠

掛燈籠是中秋節(jié)傳統(tǒng)，傳統(tǒng)燈籠是喜慶的大紅色，表達(dá)人們對(duì)幸福生活的追求和向往。SWIS社區(qū)成員來自各個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)，因此我們用不同顏色的燈籠代表SWIS多元化的大家庭。

《中秋的故事》

四年級(jí)小朋友的舞臺(tái)版《中秋的故事》，演繹了后羿與嫦娥的故事，生動(dòng)而親切地向觀眾介紹了中秋節(jié)的傳說與來歷。

《天空中的兔風(fēng)箏》

8年級(jí)的周靜巍同學(xué)深情朗誦了原創(chuàng)詩(shī)歌《天空中的兔風(fēng)箏》。

知名表演藝術(shù)家朗誦經(jīng)典文學(xué)

中國(guó)戲劇家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員李紹琴朗誦蘇軾的《水調(diào)歌頭》。深圳廣播電影電視集團(tuán)首席主播吳慶捷與國(guó)家一級(jí)播音員趙暉共同朗誦現(xiàn)代詩(shī)人余光中的《鄉(xiāng)愁》。藝術(shù)家的朗誦字字傳情，或抑揚(yáng)頓挫、慷慨激昂，或鏗鏘有力、擲地有聲，或如涓涓細(xì)流，娓娓道來，又仿如天籟之音，帶著觀眾們走進(jìn)經(jīng)典，走進(jìn)歷史，進(jìn)入一個(gè)個(gè)絢爛多姿的萬千世界，細(xì)細(xì)品位其中故事。

除了精彩的演出，SWIS中秋夜還組織了多項(xiàng)趣味游戲和活動(dòng)，包括：品嘗月餅、做花燈、套環(huán)游戲、猜燈謎、創(chuàng)意黏土等。
