佛山市諾德安達(dá)學(xué)校將在9月18日（周三）晚上7點(diǎn)-8點(diǎn)半舉行首場(chǎng)大學(xué)升學(xué)指導(dǎo)說(shuō)明會(huì)。學(xué)校邀請(qǐng)到喬治城大學(xué)-卡塔爾地區(qū)前招生助理主任Ms. Katrina S. 作為說(shuō)明會(huì)嘉賓，分享名校申請(qǐng)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和策略。全校中學(xué)生將參加說(shuō)明會(huì)，小學(xué)及中學(xué)有興趣參加的家長(zhǎng)也歡迎到校參加。

我校將在9月18日(周三)晚上7點(diǎn)-8點(diǎn)半舉行首場(chǎng)大學(xué)升學(xué)指導(dǎo)說(shuō)明會(huì)。學(xué)校邀請(qǐng)到喬治城大學(xué)-卡塔爾地區(qū)前招生助理主任Ms. Katrina S. 作為說(shuō)明會(huì)嘉賓，分享名校申請(qǐng)經(jīng)驗(yàn)和策略。全校中學(xué)生將參加說(shuō)明會(huì)，小學(xué)及中學(xué)有興趣參加的家長(zhǎng)也歡迎到校參加。

喬治城大學(xué)是著名的愛國(guó)者聯(lián)盟盟校，該聯(lián)盟由麻省理工學(xué)院、西點(diǎn)軍校和美國(guó)海軍學(xué)院等12個(gè)精英學(xué)府組成。這些學(xué)府的共同特點(diǎn)是規(guī)模小和高度精英化。美國(guó)前總統(tǒng)克林頓、前國(guó)務(wù)卿奧爾布賴特，中國(guó)外交部長(zhǎng)王毅等多位杰出的政治家與外交家都曾在喬治城大學(xué)就讀。該大學(xué)位列2017-18年度USNEWS世界大學(xué)排名美國(guó)第20名，2019年福布斯美國(guó)大學(xué)排名第12名。

在喬治城大學(xué)擔(dān)任招生助理主任期間，Katrina S.計(jì)劃、協(xié)調(diào)和執(zhí)行了14個(gè)國(guó)家的國(guó)際招生戰(zhàn)略。她通過(guò)ApplyYourSelf數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)系統(tǒng)審查了超過(guò)1000份申請(qǐng)資料。在喬治敦大學(xué)，她主持并組織了招生委員會(huì)會(huì)議。

地點(diǎn)：中學(xué)樓STEAM半圓形劇場(chǎng)

語(yǔ)言：英文主講，中文翻譯

7點(diǎn)-8點(diǎn)：大學(xué)說(shuō)明會(huì) – “如何申請(qǐng)美國(guó)藤校”

8點(diǎn)-8點(diǎn)半：學(xué)生提問(wèn)環(huán)節(jié)

參加人員：7、8、9、10年級(jí)全體中學(xué)生(小學(xué)及中學(xué)各年級(jí)家長(zhǎng)可自由選擇是否參加旁聽)

University Counseling Meeting

Dear Parents，

NAS Foshan is going to host the first university counseling meeting at 7pm – 8:30pm on Wednesday, the 18th of September. Katrina S., former Assistant Director of Admissions, Georgetown University-Qatar is our keynote speaker.

Ms. Katrina S. had planned, coordinated, and executed International Admissions strategy over 14 countries. She reviewed, compiled, and interviewed over 1000 applications through ApplyYourself database system. At Georgetown University, she chaired and organized Admissions Committee meetings.
